Under the guidance of Miguel Ángel Bossio, the team won both of their Saturday matches (5–1 against Irrepetibles and 11–2 against Vilasport, the second-place finisher), as well as their two Sunday games (8–0 against Fundación Atlético de Madrid and 12–0 once again against Irrepetibles).

Discover the Story of A-Ball
It’s worth noting that Valencia CF and the Footballers’ Association launched the first ever wheelchair football school six years ago. This initiative by the Valencia CF Footballers’ Association aimed to relaunch this new form of adapted football as a truly inclusive sport, with the social goal of giving everyone the chance to play the same game.
The idea originally came from Fernando Giner, president of the Valencia CF Footballers’ Association. After getting in touch with César Iribarren — Director of the Master in Sports Business Management at UPV — and José Bernardo Noblejas — Director of Ortoprono — they developed the rules of the game and, most importantly, designed the special wheelchairs used to play A-Ball.
Today, the team is supported by the Diputación de Valencia, Caixa Popular, and TM Grupo Inmobiliario.
The goal is for this sport — which allows everyone to continue playing football — to keep growing and eventually become firmly established in both the national and international sporting landscape. The medium-term objective is Paralympic recognition. For now, it already enjoys official recognition and the backing of the RFEF.
